My Story - Jo Searle

Jo is based in Johannesburg, South Africa but sessions can be conducted online from anywhere in the world

"I define intimacy in relationship as being emotionally open and physically close"

Joanne has been an individual and couples coach and psychotherapist since 1996.

When working with individuals and couples with relationship issues, she focuses her work with supporting them on their journey to experience true intimacy. She believes this journey starts with the relationship with self.

Joanne is passionate about people finding the love they want and creating relationships that work. Through her own journey of self-discovery and healing, Joanne learned that intimate relationships are possible through self-awareness, choice and conscious design. She believes in individuals desire and ability to realise their potential and her approach to coaching is strengths based.

Joanne has been a UKCP Registered psychotherapist and a coach since 1996. She did a Humanistic and Integrative training, whilst living and working in London from 1994-2002, when she was accredited by the UKCP. Her training at Spectrum in London, included the Sexuality programme, PAIIRs and an Advanced couples coaching training.

She is currently doing a further training with Intimacy Coach International.

"Loving someone is being willing to educate them as to who you are" (Stanley Keleman).
