If you are already teaching or coaching in aligned fields you can be practicing within 3- 6 months with examinations,  and can complete the other levels (Intermediate / Advanced) while you're already practicing! If you are brand new to any sort of coaching or working with people this may change to a year. You can begin to teach and earn after you have completed your Foundation Level Exam and signed the trainee code of conduct and registration​

Absolutely!  You can do our training and design our tools and work to fit your business in any way that works for you.We have doctors and psychologists who have done our course that are not permitted within their scope of practice to do bodywork, and we have esoteric teachers who include all of the bodywork as part of their scope of practice. You decide which way you practice, and we teach you the work with options to adapt it to your practice and personal business.

Yes, we teach you how to begin working with clients and setting up your business.We will coach and teach you with how to be able to work with clients and be comfortable doing so.Once you have passed your Foundation Exam you'll be able to start working with clients.

If you are willing to commit 4 hours a week, you are likely to be able to complete your Foundation Training within 6 months, and the entire course within a year to 18 months. You can teach or run sessions with your Foundation Training, as long as you are still completing your course.

No, you can begin whenever you like as most of the course is self study at your own pace. The live calls also happen throughout the year, and you have access to a link to book your 1:1 mentoring and coaching calls whenever there's a mutual time and date in both of our calendars.

No. Only the ones you want to attend as all of the material is covered in the modules anyway, and we record any new material in the masterclasses to add to your resources module which you can access as part of your course. The Resources Module for your course can include guest teacher classes as well as recorded sessions on different topics that relate to intimacy coaching; for example classical tantra, some yoga practices, attachment styles and practical partner work.

You have a written open book exam for Foundation Level, which you need to pass with at least 70% to begin to practice. The Intermediate exam is a live Zoom Session which you can book at an appropriate time for yourself where you'll be asked what you would suggest for certain clients, how you would practically teach clients with certain issues, and to check you have a working and practical understanding of what you've been learning in the course. Advanced level training also has a written open book exam as well as a Live Zoom Session where you'll be asked questions on how to practically incorporate the learning with real client test cases.

You will receive a Certification with Intimacy Coach International upon passing your exams, with three levels of certification, Foundation, Intermediate & Advanced. If you choose to sign our code of conduct you can also be registered with us after passing your Foundation Exam. There are no CPD points currently registered with this certification, but coaches internationally have been able to register with alternative health bodies, as well as include their other modalities within the structure of this training.

Bodywork is any form of touch by self or another that helps the body process stress , strain or emotion somatically (somatically means through the body) Bodywork can include massage, self soothing exercises, being held in a hug or anything that involves touch. Bodywork can also be taught so that the client does all of the touch work themselves to elicit oxytocin, serotonin and other feel good chemicals in their own self practice.

This changes depending on location with in person work, but on average it works out to the price of any other specialised therapy as you are dealing with difficult and specialised subject matter for many people. So, if in your area, a therapy or counselling session costs $99, Intimacy Coaches can generally charge 1 and half to 3 times this price depending on length of session and what's included. Coaches who have other qualifications as well can also charge more.

Because you can't just purchase this course to achieve certification, and we need to know if this course is the right fit for you, we ask to chat to you before you decide to purchase. This is also to ensure our training is the right fit for you, and if you are looking for either a more academic approach or a more esoteric approach we may not be the right fit! We are on the bridge between a more academic or alternatively a full esoteric approach!This is NOT a sales call, and you are not asked to commit to any purchases during this call, in fact we will only accept you into the training 72 hours after this call at the earliest so that you have time to consider all of your options and ask all of your questions before joining us.Some coaches have only joined us months after their discovery call, and some have been itching to start and counting down 72 hours! The decision is totally yours, and part of ethical consent is not pushing people through gimmicky sales techniques to commit when they are fully informed or ready, so we don't use timer countdowns or sales during the discovery call.

A sex coach is focussed on exactly that, teaching you about sexuality and your personal sex life. They may often focus on sexual techniques and what immediately surrounds this (things like contraception, sexual identity, sexual exploration etc) at the forefront of their work, with more interest in sexual activity and proclivity. This may also include BDSM and fetishes, with more of a focus on the actual sexual act and physicality.An intimacy coach works under a larger umbrella of where intimacy lives, using the senses and sensuality, regulating the nervous system, how sexuality forms a part of intimacy but isn't the entire picture. Intimacy coaches also look at communication and relational structures, where intimacy sits with the individual in all of their intimate life situations, and it's often a gentler approach to sexuality and sensuality, as well as patterns and connections within relational community and family.Some people are both, and adapt as necessary for their clients, and this is not a definition that can be set in stone as there are no official academic structures for much of this work, you often need to ask a coach exactly how they work, what they specialise in, and research to find out exactly what sort of sessions or coaching you are looking for. Just as life coaches have different individual approaches unless they work with set franchised session outline, both intimacy and sex coaches have a variety of sessions and approaches that help them work effectively to improve people's intimate and sexual lives.
